Aqua at Fusion Dome as On-Shore Activity

On February the 26th we had a special association evening, as we went to Fusion Dome in Ede! Here we could enjoy a round of bowling and a round of Laser game! 🎳🔫

After having dinner on campus, we headed to Ede by car (thanks to Niek and Stefan for driving). 🚗 Once we arrived and reunited with the people who came directly to Fusion Dome, we kicked things off with a game of bowling. 🎳

Of course, the saying “You’re either good at bowling or good in bed” made an appearance, and judging by the scores… well, let’s just say the evening was full of mystery. Only a few strikes were made and no Olympic records were broken. 💯'We had two lanes, so we split into two groups: one “good” team and one slightly less fortunate one. In the good team, Niek claimed victory with an impressive 105 points, while in the other group Elena secured first place with 92 points. So really, it’s all about perspective.

After bowling, we immediately headed upstairs for laser tag. 🔫 That’s where things got serious. Running, hiding, ambushing - and most importantly, sweating - became the main activities of the evening. Tactical skills varied, but enthusiasm definitely didn’t. Some people discovered their inner action hero, while others mainly discovered how unfit they actually are. Let’s just say our fitness levels suggest the sailing season hasn’t started yet. ⛵

After burning off what felt like a week’s worth of energy, we wrapped up the night the only proper way: with some well-earned drinks and plenty of laughs. All in all, it was a super fun evening filled with competition, chaos, and great company, definitely one to remember!
