At least 1 of you needs to know how to sail a boat. You can also join with friends who are not an Aqua member. The race is a touring race. It is a long distance where you have to cross multiple lakes and go underneath bridges. Don't worry, you will get a map. If you finish early, you can still sail around a bit for fun. You don't need to be a Skipper at Aqua. The sailboats will be very familiar, because the organisation will arrange Valken. You are allowed to paddle the boat forward during the race. Also towing the boat by walking on the shore with a rope is allowed. Very useful to get upwind in narrow channels! A very nice lunch and dinner will be provided. You can win a price for the team with the best outfit
